The pump features a durable, weather-resistant housing with a neutral design. Do not place the aerator on ice! If the aerator falls into the water, it may cause a short circuit and damage the device\u2014such cases are not covered by warranty.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend placing an air stone no deep than 2 metres deep. Old air stones, long lengths of air line, sharp bends will affect air output. To keep the pump operating to is optimum level always replace old and dirty air stones and do not close off the air output completely whilst pump is running.<\/p>\n<p>We suggest using a check valve to ensure that air moves only in one direction \u2014 from the air pump to the pond \u2014 and to prevent water being sucked in when the air pump is turned off.<\/p>\n<p>During the winter period, it is important to ensure that the hose and air stone do not get clogged or stuck. Moisture can freeze in cold weather, leading to blockages and hindrances in the air flow. Regular checks of hoses and air stones are recommended to prevent air pump overheating.<\/p>\n<p>Over time, rubber membranes may stretch. We recommend replacing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiigikalad.ee\/e-pood\/tiigitehnika\/aereerimine\/jecod-varumembraanid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">membranes<\/a> every few years.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Recommended Accessories:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The Jecod air pump package includes only the aerator &#8211; hose and air stone are not included. To ensure proper aeration, we recommend adding the following accessories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tiigikalad.ee\/en\/e-shop\/hoses\/hose-cristallo-extra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PVC<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tiigikalad.ee\/en\/e-shop\/hoses\/hose-nts-white-silver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NTS<\/a> hose to connect the air pump to the diffuser<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tiigikalad.ee\/en\/e-shop\/pond-technique\/aeration\/fine-bubble-disk-diffuser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Diffuser<\/a> to break the air into fine bubbles and ensure effective oxygenation of the water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ready-made <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tiigikalad.ee\/en\/e-shop\/pond-technique\/aeration\/aeration-set-with-diffuser-i\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aeration sets with diffusers<\/a> are also available and can be customized to suit your pond\u2019s specific needs.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Warranty<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"53\" data-end=\"604\">The Jecod membrane aerator is a reliable and durable solution for water aeration when used according to the instructions. With regular maintenance, the device operates for many years. The membranes are wear parts that require periodic replacement: under normal conditions, we recommend replacing them every 2 years, and in more demanding conditions (e.g., winter use), once a year. To ensure a long service life, it is important to keep the air filter clean. To prevent moisture damage, cover the compressor with a protective box.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"868\">The warranty applies to all parts of the device.
