Aquaclar Pond Plus is a natural clarifier that quickly and safely clears brown or green pond water and prevents the formation of suspended algae. Aquaclar binds and breaks down the algae and particles that make the pond water turbid. It is advisable to use the agent in a pond with a filter, as the filter collects the particles and washes them out.
Dosing:
- 1 L of the agent is intended for 20 000 L of pond water.
- Before adding the product to the water, dilute it with pond water (in a bucket) and then evenly distribute it over the pond.
- Do not turn off the pump, filter, or air pump. After using the agent, significant oxygen depletion may occur in ponds.
- Within a few hours, the algae will die, and the water will become clear again. Mechanical removal of floating debris from the water surface is recommended.
- The next day, remove the sediments and dead algae, and replace some of the water with freshwater.
- After a few days, use the agent again with half the dose.
- To maintain the achieved effect, it is advisable to periodically check the main parameters of the water, especially the levels of nitrates and phosphates, as an excessive amount of these elements promotes uncontrolled algae growth.
Important notes
- Before adding Aquaclar to the water, the pH of the water must be between 7 – 8. This condition is essential to protect the pond from sudden pH changes, which can be fatal to fish. If the pH does not meet these values, it should be adjusted before adding the product.
- It is advisable to install an air pump in the pond before adding the product to ensure better mixing with the water and to prevent oxygen depletion in the pond, as this product may reduce the oxygen in the water.
- Use the pond water clarifier Aquaclar exactly as instructed.
- Keep the product out of reach of children.
- Wash hands thoroughly after using the product.
- After opening the product, close it properly and store it in a dark and cool place.
