What does the Combi-2 offer?

• All-in-one: drum filter, UV-C lamp, chambers for biofilter media and Japanese mat – everything needed to keep pond water clean.
• Flexible installation: the gravity-fed model is suitable for in-ground installation (concealed), while the pump-fed model allows for creating a beautiful waterfall.
• Efficiency: effectively removes all solid particles (waste, uneaten food, algae, etc.).

How does the Combi-2 work?

The Combi-2 filter uses innovative drum technology combined with a moving biofilter and UV-C lamp to ensure optimal water flow and filtration.

Initially, polluted pond water flows into the first chamber. In the second chamber, the drum filter and UV-C lamp perform mechanical filtration and ultraviolet disinfection. Aeration stones are placed at the bottom of the third chamber. When connected to an air pump, aeration begins. For optimal efficiency, the third chamber should be filled up to 70% with biomedia (Hel-X granules and/or Japanese mat). After a few weeks, beneficial bacteria begin to colonize the biomedia, initiating biological water purification.
