Nymphaea Peter Slocum is a water lily with large, spherical pink flowers. The blooms are sweetly fragrant and remain open for a long time even with limited sunlight. The plant is well-suited for medium-sized ponds and lightly shaded locations.

Features
* Flower color: pink
* Flowers: large, spherical, nearly double
* Leaves: green
* Water depth: 60 – 80 cm
* Plant spread: up to 2 m²
* Nymphaea Peter Slocum prefers a sunny growing spot (at least 5–6 hours of light daily). It blooms from June to September and is well-suited for small ponds or tubs. Removing deadhead blooms and yellowed leaves helps keep the water cleaner.

Planting
Water lilies prefer rich, clay-like soil; sandy bottoms are not suitable for them. In a natural pond, they can be planted directly into the mud at a depth of at least 50 cm, where the bottom does not freeze in winter. If the pond freezes completely during the winter, the water lily should be removed in autumn along with the planting basket and placed in an appropriate wintering location. A dark cellar with low temperature is ideal. The plant should be placed in a water-filled container, its leaves removed, and regularly checked throughout the winter to ensure it has enough water, adding more as needed.
