Filtreau UV-C INOX Module High Output Stainless Steel is one of the most corrosion-resistant UV-C lamps thanks to its stainless steel housing. High Output refers to a higher intensity of ultraviolet radiation compared to standard UV-C lamps. In practice, this means the lamp can neutralize harmful microorganisms in the water – such as bacteria, viruses, and algae – more effectively and quickly.
How does the UV-C Compact work?
- Water flows into the unit with the help of a pump.
- The UV-C lamp emits ultraviolet light (with a wavelength of 253.7 nm), which destroys bacteria, viruses, and algae present in the water.
- The purified water is directed back into the pond.
