Shoreline plants

Plants growing in the shoreline zone of ponds tolerate short-term flooding well. They prefer moist, nutrient-rich soil that supports their growth. Higher air humidity creates a favorable environment for them. The best growing location is near the water’s edge, where the roots have constant access to water. Some species also thrive slightly above the waterline.
