Filtreau UV-C Pond Basic, nearly one meter in length, is designed for purifying larger volumes of water and/or controlling algae. The UV-C Pond Basic uses UV radiation to destroy bacteria, viruses, and algae in the water. This device is especially effective in ponds and pools where chlorine or other chemicals are not used.

How does it work?

1. Water flows into the device via a pump.
2. The UV-C lamp emits UV light (wavelength 253.7 nm), which destroys bacteria, viruses, and algae in the water.
3. The purified water is directed back into the pond.
